Police in Nepal say a bus fell from a mountain road in the west of the country early Monday morning, killing 19 people, including a British national. Police added that only nine of the victims have been identified so far, noting that the bus was carrying 44 passengers in total. A police statement clarified that a New Zealander and a Chinese national were among the 25 injured when the bus fell 200 meters from the road in the Dadhing district, located about 80 kilometers west of the capital, Kathmandu. The bus was traveling from the tourist city of Pokhara to Kathmandu. The statement said the injured are receiving treatment in hospitals in the capital.
